Lovely sunny day in Melbourne - Winter 2011
Started my day mid-morning at the NGV in St. Kilda Rd. Vienna Art and Design was just devine. I can hardly wait to go back. I treated myself to morning tea.
This is an apple and chocolate Guiglehoph or Gugelhupf - spelled both ways on the menu and cafe sign. Large slice of cake, tiny plate and tiny swirl of cream.
Headed to NGV Australia to check out my favourite Australian paintings and a spot of shopping in town at Tessuti - Melbourne.
What will I make with this lovely piece of Lace?
A week now until school holidays and 'Teenage Sewing Camp' with my darling BN (big niece). She arrives from Sydney without her brother and their little sister LN (little niece). Patterns for me Aunty Judy, BN - 13 and LN - 3 & 1/2. We get to have lots of fun together.

Brooch Swap 2011 - Autumn leaf
This is my Brooch swap for a young girl - North side.
Melbourne has a proper Autumn with beautiful crimson and gold leaves. Winter is almost here.
I have planted lots of spring bulbs, violas and more raspberries.
Had a lovely day at Diggers in Dromana. Perfect weather for a lovely day out.

Mushroom season - Melbourne
Fresh mushrooms at the Queen Vic Markets. Year 12 loved the day out and I bought some cheaper Pine Mushrooms at $23 a kilo. They dried beautifully in the food dehydrator. I have joined Twitter.

Ensuite almost finished. - I live in hope.
The Eighties salmon pink is now gone! The floor tiles are in place and the walls have been sprayed white. Now, I am waiting for the plumber to come back and put everything back and then finally the glass shower doors can be installed. I can then move back to my bedroom, instead of camping out.

Winter is now here
Well, not quite Melbourne in winter but the nights are getting cold and I have had a good clear out of crafts and patterns that I will never make. Happy are the folks that pick them up at Savers in Brunswick.
Back to the Yarn Wrapping - knitting, crochet and quilting.
